According to the official Gundam website, fans can expect three new anime projects from the franchise in the future!
The first is a brand-new television anime series called Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. This is going to be the first mainline Gundam anime series since Iron-Blooded Orphans aired back in 2015!
Speaking of Iron-Blooded Orphans, the second project is going to be a 9-part TV anime compilation. The series looks to feature a preview of Urdr-Hunt… which is a spinoff anime which is slated to release as part of the Iron-Blooded Orphans G mobile game. Both the compilation and the game are slated for a Spring 2022 release.
The last project is called Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island. This will be an anime film that reimagines the 15th episode of Mobile Suit Gundam.
The new tv anime and the movie do not have a release timeframe just yet.
