Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Gets Trailer Update

By Todd BlackSeptember 28, 2021
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are the long-awaited remakes of the 4th generation of Pokemon, and needless to say, many fans are looking forward to a 3D take on the games. Nintendo has gone and made it clear just how similar the games will be to the original DS titles while also improving certain things due to the capabilities of the Nintendo Switch. This can be seen once again via the newest trailer.

For example, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will bring back the PokeEtch, an app-focused device that will help you keep track of time, look at your Pokemon, help you select HM moves more easily, track hidden items, and more. Furthermore, the return of HMs is confirmed in the game alongside the return of Poffins. If you don’t remember, Poffins can be made to help improve certain stats of your Pokemon in terms of “Cuteness, Toughness, Coolness, Cleverness, and Beauty” in order for them to be received better at Pokemon contests.

Some new features were shown off though, including being able to roam around Amity Square with your party so you can truly interact with your Pokemon.

We also got first-looks at returning characters like Cheryl and Riley, so check out the trailer below, and be ready for the game when it arrives on Nintendo Switch November 19th!
