Spider-Man, Klaw Raid, and More Coming to Marvel’s Avengers Before The End of the Year

A detailed roadmap for Marvel’s Avengers was released today detailing a slew of exciting new updates to content and several gameplay tweaks set to release before the year’s end. And it might just be enough to get me on board again.

Our next roadmap covers what we have planned for the remainder of 2021.

💎 Confront Klaw in our first Raid
⚙️ Gear Upgrading and Resources Rework
⏫ Power Level Cap Increase
🕷️ Spider-Man Hero Event for PS4, PS5
🛣️ …and more!

Following on from last month’s War for Wakanda expansion, the team over at Crystal Dynamics is striking while the iron is hot with a lot of new add-ons. We got confirmation that a handful of events will be returning along with MCU-inspired costumes finally making their way to the game. Some of the bigger news from the roadmap would be the game’s first raid going live where players will take on longtime Black Panther foe Klaw. And perhaps even bigger than that is the long-awaited inclusion of Spider-Man as a playable character. Unfortunately for anyone not playing on a Sony platform, the wall-crawler will only be available in the PlayStation versions of the game. A fact that we knew from the beginning but doesn’t make it hurt any less.

It’s been a bumpy road for Marvel’s Avengers. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ hybrid live service action-RPG had a pretty rough launch but it has slowly built a devoted following who have stuck with it through all of its growing pains. It hasn’t been snapped out of existence yet and it looks like it’s becoming a title that people should maybe take a second look at now that it has more to dig into.

For the full breakdown of the content roadmap, make sure you check out the official Marvel’s Avengers website for even more details on what’s to come.
