Metroid Dread is without a doubt one of the most-anticipated games of the back half of the year ever since its announcement at E3 2021. And Nintendo has been slowly teasing more and more of it as we get closer to its release date of October 8th. But now, a brand new trailer showcases a brand new threat for Samus to face.
Because in this new look at Metroid Dread, we see Samus for the first time going and fighting…a Chozo warrior. For those who don’t recall, the Chozo were who took in Samus after Ridley destroyed her colony and killed her family. So thus she has a deep respect and kinship with them. But something is different about this Chozo, and it’s going to be a tough foe for Samus to face.
