Horror Renewed: Little Nightmares 2 Gets A Next-Gen Upgrade

By Ryan EasbyAugust 25, 2021

Horror game fans can breathe a sigh of relief (or should that be a scream?). Bandai Namco’s Little Nightmares 2 is getting a next-gen upgrade complete with all the bells and whistles you’ve come to expect.

The prequel to 2017’s Little Nightmares received critical acclaim upon release, and was loved by horror fans for how it delivered scares and the characters. Now, players can become scared all over again, and new players can discover the horrors hidden within with a next-gen port that promises to increase the level of volumetric shadows, make the game even more detailed with dynamically affected dust, ray-traced reflections & immersive 3d Spatial Audio.

And you don’t have to wait very long to play it either. Little Nightmares 2: Enhanced Edition is out right now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S & Epic Game Store and is a free upgrade for existing players. Prepare to step into the dark once more.

This announcement promises to just be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to announcements for the gaming industry today, with gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live just mere hours away. Stay tuned to our website to find out the latest and greatest news from the best news source on the internet. We’ll be bringing you updates, details on any major surprises and our thoughts on the event later today.
