Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Series X and Elite Series 2 controller announced

Alongside the news of Halo Infinite’s release date, Xbox has also announced two new hardware goodies for its fans; A Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Series X and a Halo Infinite-themed Elite Series 2 controller.

The Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Series X is priced at $549.99 and is available on the Microsoft store. The Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Series 2 controller is priced at $199.99, also available on the Microsoft store.  Both will be released on November 5th, 2021, several days ahead of the Halo Infinite release, but also on the 20th anniversary of Halo.

Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Series X looks amazing and has a nice futuristic Halo theme and includes an Xbox Series X|S controller with this same theme. However, the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Series 2 controller takes a different approach and draws from Master Chief’s iconic armor. This has to be one of the best controllers that have been released from Xbox, in my opinion.

This Elite Series 2 controller is also a revised version,  as the original controller had several quality control issues. I’ve sent in mine for repair twice, yet I’m still having issues with it. Here’s to hoping this revised controller provides a better user experience.

Both have already been a challenge to pre-order, and while I was finally able to snag the Halo-themed Elite Series 2 controller, the Xbox Series X has sold out. And before you check, yes, there are quite a few already on eBay.
