Check out the first 15 minutes of gameplay from Ghost Song, a currently in development Metroidvania title that takes players to a mysterious planet and has been influenced by games such as Super Metroid and Dark Souls.
This footage was taken from the latest build and, according to Matt White, the single developer of Ghost Song, the final demo before the game goes gold. Currently, Ghost Song is in development for the PC. However, as it uses the Unity game engine, it’s quite possible it could be released on other platforms.
As a fan of Metroidvania games, I’ve followed Ghost Song from its early days, and the game has changed quite a bit. It’s been an interesting few years, and I can’t wait to play the finished product. It’s also fair to state that I did back the project on Kickstarter.
Ghost Song currently has no announced release date, but you can wishlist it now on Steam.
