Elden Ring store pages are now live on PSN, Xbox Live, and Steam

While the actual game of Elden Ring isn’t available yet (crap!), we’re getting ever so close to the release date that is set for January 2022. However, it was recently noticed that the game’s store pages had gone live on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and PC.

Sadly, the Steam pages haven’t provided any system spec information that PC gamers love to see. Nor do the store pages show any new information or offer a pre-purchase option, but it is nice to see the pages already live.

What is Elden Ring?

Elden Ring is the next masterpiece that I must play. An open-world RPG, perhaps the largest game that Fromsoftware has ever worked on and has been in development since the final DLC for Dark Souls III. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, with George R. R. Martin (A Song of Fire and Ice/Game of Thrones), who’s in charge of the storytelling and lore.

The game will play like a fusion of Dark Souls and Sekiro. You can assess situations and decide to jump in guns blazing or take the stealth route, picking when to strike. Co-op is also in the game, where players can summon other players, similar to Dark Souls (up to four players). Players will also be able to collect random enemies and use them as allies throughout the game; however, that bit hasn’t been fully explained.

We’ve already seen a trailer that shows off the world of Elden Ring, and we managed to spot several Dark Souls references in it. We have a release date of Jan 21st, 2022. We even have store pages up. Now, all we need to do is wait patiently or steal someone’s time machine, so we eventually play it.
