Cruis’n Blast heads to the Switch next month

Here we go, one of my favorite arcade games finally has a release date for the Nintendo Switch. Raw Thrills, developer of the game, has revealed that the Cruis’n Blast release date is September 14th, 2021, for the Switch. It will be priced at $39.99 for the physical and digital versions of the game.

Cruis’n Blast features a split-screen co-op for up to four players and apparently will run at 60 frames per second on the Switch. Honestly, I didn’t think it was possible, so I’m impressed. This also means I’ll no longer need to head down to the local arcade that isn’t local and is an hour from me. I can’t wait for this. This is a port of the arcade game that was released in 2017.

In addition to the release date announcement, a trailer showcasing several of the in-game tracks in action was also released. Check it out below, and just think; in a short time, we’ll be playing this at home or on the go. Don’t let the trailer fool you, as the game features nearly 30 different tracks, some insane vehicles, and more.

Cruis’n Blast heads to the Nintendo Switch on September 14th, 2021 and I can’t wait. I’m a sucker for a good arcade racer and sadly, there haven’t been many of those out there anymore.
