Xbox’s Cloud Gaming is now powered by Xbox Series X Servers

Here we go! Not too long ago, Xbox announced that its cloud gaming service would be available to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. This is across Windows 10, Apple iOS, and Google Android devices, and of course, Xbox hardware across 22 countries. Those magical blade servers powered by Xbox Series X are finally in place. The stars have aligned, and now, xCloud is ready for everyone who has an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership to jump in.

We are creating a future that combines the gaming heritage of Xbox and the power of Azure. A future where we bring high fidelity, immersive games to the 3 billion players around the world. Now we’re taking a big step forward to reaching that vision: Starting today, Xbox Cloud Gaming is available to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members with Windows 10 PCs and Apple phones and tablets, via browser, across 22 countries. If you’re a member or want to become a member, simply go to xbox.com/play on Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Safari on your PC or mobile device to start playing hundreds of games from the Xbox Game Pass library.

This is fantastic news for not only Xbox but also the millions of Xbox gamers. While xCloud was previously in beta and only available in a limited capacity, the gates are now open. And I have to be honest; I’ve been using xCloud way more than I thought I would. Having being able to utilize the service on my iPad Pro and Surface 6 Pro when out of the house — it’s been a blast. Now, more gamers will be able to have the same experience.

If you’re unsure what Xbox is offering, I recommend you give Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming a try. Xbox offers free trials, and you can snag a 3-month subscription for just $1. Give that a try before passing judgment. Chances are, you may like what your seeing and experience. You never know when you’ll want to bust out a game of Forza Horizon 4 while you’re out on the road, stuck shopping, or wherever else life takes you.

Kudus to Xbox for keeping the course and are now seeing the fruits of laying the groundwork.
