Deadline reported that Akihito Tsukushi’s Made in Abyss series will be getting a Hollywood live-action movie adaptation. Columbia Pictures is set to produce the film.
As of now, we know that Masi Oka (Heroes), Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment, and writer/director Kevin Mc Mullin are attached to the film. There is no word on the story or release date as of yet.
The second television anime season is set for 2022 along with a video game that will tie into the story.
