No Man’s Sky Is Getting Mass Effect Content For A Limited Time

The recent release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition has breathed new life in the beloved but troubled franchise. Longtime fans get to revisit a series they hold dear while a whole new group of players get to board the Normandy for the first time. There’s definitely a lot to celebrate for anyone who loves the series. Luckily, there is even more Mass Effect content to sink your teeth into if you’re clamoring for more.

As of today, No Man’s Sky players can access some really cool Mass Effect content thanks to the new Beachhead Expedition Update. Hello Games teamed up with EA as a celebration for Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

The update adds the iconic Normandy spacecraft from the Mass Effect series as one of your in-game frigates. Sadly, it does not look like it is flyable but you can seemingly hang out around the bridge of the ship and have it among your fleet of ships. Either way, it is a very cool addition and a sweet easter egg for fans of the Bioware franchise.

You can get access to the Normandy by completing the newly added expedition starting today, but it will only be available until May 31st. So you have ten more days if you want to do your best Commander Shepard impression in No Man’s Sky before the add-on disappears into the far reaches of space forever.

The Beachhead Expedition Update also includes a handful of other tweaks and fixes to the game overall. The full breakdown for those can be found on the game’s official website.
