New Ghostrunner 2 Info Coming Today During Livestream

By Keith MitchellMay 27, 2021

Epic Games and 505 Games will show off several new modes for Ghostrunner and details on the upcoming sequel, Ghostrunner 2. This live stream will take place today at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EDT and hosted on Twitch.

Announced back in May 2021, Ghostrunner 2 is the follow-up to the original game. Other than the sequel is coming; we don’t know anything about the game. However, during today’s stream, 505 Games will provide some info on the game. This is surprising, given that the sequel was only recently announced. But given the success of Ghostrunner, the developer One More Level could be further along in the development phase than expected.

The new Ghostrunner new modes include the Wave Mode that introduces randomized enemies, roguelike elements and pits players in an attempt to survive 20 rounds of chaos. Think horde mode because that’s what it sounds like. During the ways, players will be able to upgrade their skills and abilities, which should help them proceed further.

While Assist Mode makes the game more accessible and puts more focus on the story. Thus giving more players a chance to experience the story and not worrying about dying so much. 505 Games is currently taking sign-ups for a Ghostrunner beta and gain access to the new modes ahead of the official release.

Check out our review of Ghostrunner.

Ghostrunner is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG. Ghostrunner will come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2021.
