New Dragon Ball Super Movie Coming in 2022

By Josh PiedraMay 9, 2021
Dragon Ball Super

It was announced that a brand-new anime movie based on Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Super series will be heading to theaters in Japan at some point in 2022.

Mentions of a movie date back to 2019 when Akio Iyoku conducted an interview that was included with the Japanese Blu-ray release of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly film. In addition to this, Toei Animation released this news on May 9 which is known as Goku Day. Goku Day was originally a fan holiday; however, it was recognized by the Japan Anniversary Association back in 2015.

As of now, no information on an exact release date, official title, or story has been announced for the new film.
