eBay announced that starting on June 15, their Adult Only category will no longer be available for new listings. They also stated that items showing sexual activity, content, or suggestive poses will be forbidden.
These restrictions also apply to anime, comics, books, films, animation, manga, hentai, yaoi, adult films, and video games with a rating of X, XXX, R18, or unrated for an adults-only audience. In the case of anime and manga, anything that contains sexually-explicit content or stories are prohibited under their new policy.
The only thing to escape the new policy is artwork depicting nudity as long as they do not contain sexually-suggestive poses. Sex toys, oddly, are still permitted provided that the images don’t contain any suggestive poses or content on their packaging.
If there are items currently in the adult-only category, they may be relisted, just so long as they are not newly created on or after June 15.
