Dying Light 2 Livestream To Take Place On May 27th

By Keith MitchellMay 25, 2021
Dying Light 2 Stay Human

It looks like Techland is ready to talk about its upcoming game, Dying Light 2. The follow-up to the first game and a title that has been in development limbo for quite some time. Early last week, Techland sent out some promotional material regarding the event, and I was one of those who received one. In this promo kit was a poster and an ultra-violet flashlight that, when used on the poster, teases Dying Light 2, and this event will take place on May 27th, 2021, at 12 PM PDT / 3 PM EDT.

Then earlier today, the official Dying Light Twitter account announced to the world that they’re ready to talk more about Dying Light 2.

Are you dying 2 know more?
Because we sure are dying 2 tell you more about Dying Light 2!
See you on @Twitch!https://t.co/iNbVNq1qtH pic.twitter.com/YJrcZKvW3S

Since Dying Light 2 was delayed back during January 2020, Techland has been quiet regarding the game’s status. No one outside of the company knows what’s going on, but that’s all going to change come later this week. I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to hearing just about the game. From what Techland has said and shown off previously, Dying Light 2 is very ambitious, to say the least.

Check out 26 minutes of gameplay that was shown during E3 2019.

That’s not all the Dying Light news, as a new version of the original game was leaked by the Microsoft store earlier this week. Which has since been removed, but the damage has been done.  Dying Light: Platinum Editon, which is set to be released on May 27th, 2021, and will include all of the DLC. This includes  The Following, Hellraid, Cuisine & Cargo, The Bozak Horde expansions, and several other small DLC packs. However, it sounds like a re-release of the  Anniversary Edition, which was already available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There wasn’t any info on if the upcoming version would see any graphical upgrades.

Dying Light 2 Platinum Edition

Are you looking forward to the Dying Light 2 live stream that will take place on May 27th, 2021? If you aren’t, I sure am!
