Scarlet Nexus Preorder Stream Shows Off All of The Different Editions and Bonuses

Bandai-Namco teamed up with Xbox for a stream today to show off a bit of gameplay and some of the preorder bonuses for their upcoming action-RPG Scarlet Nexus. With currently three different editions, each with their own set of goodies, there are definitely plenty of options no matter what you’re trying to get your hands on at launch.

First off, we have the standard digital version of the game. This edition comes with a few extra costumes as well as cosmetic items for your character and an attachment for Baki, your in-game companion.

The next edition we’re looking at is the digital deluxe edtion. Along with the bonuses packed into the standard preorder bonus, it comes with a whole slew of extras. In this edition you get a Red Battle Attire Set to have your whole team dressed in style, a digital art book, soundtrack, cosmetics for the in-game creatures called The Others, and Plug-Ins to enhance some of your skills.

And then the final edition of the game is the physical version that is also up for preorder. It comes with the bonuses from the standard edition and also comes with a very cool-looking steelbook case. This is definitely one for the collectors and fans of keeping it old school with physical media.

Apart from the various editions available to preorder, they also showed off the exclusive weapons you will get access to if you sign up for Bandai-Namco’s newsletter. Obviously these weapons will not be dealt out until the game has actually released but they are another very welcome edition to a title that already seems like its going to be filled to the brim with content.

To round off the stream, our lovely hosts showed off a bit more of the fast-paced gameplay that is sure to be Scarlet Nexus’ bread and butter. It functions primarily in the same vein as a character-action titles like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta and that is some good company to be in. What looks to set it apart from those iconic franchises is its RPG elements and summons. It looks to be a lot of chaotic and incredibly fun sci-fi action. I for one can not wait to play it.

Scarlet Nexus releases on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4/5, and PC and June, 25th. Stay tuned to The Outerhaven for more updates and a review when the game launches.
