Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Gameplay Trailer Reveals Mysterious Female Lombax’s Name

Rivet - Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart Female Lombax

And her name shall be Rivet!

The Lombax is out of the bag, and Insomniac Games has finally provided a name for the mysterious female character in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Rivet is the newest addition to the series, and this week a new trailer will be released to showcase the character.

According to the PlayStation blog, here’s what they had to say about Rivet.

“Rivet is a Lombax resistance fighter from another dimension, where organic life is hunted by the evil Emperor Nefarious. You saw brand-new locations like Nefarious City and alternate-dimension twists on old favorites like Sargasso and Torren IV along with a sneak-peak at some new weapons and gameplay mechanics said  Insomniac Games creative director Marcus Smith.”

That’s not all! On April 29th, 2021, check out the recently announced PlayStation State of Play Livestream at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET for 15-minutes of gameplay from the title.

This has been the one game that PlayStation and Insomniac Games have been promising that will show off the power of the PlayStation 5. Sure, we’ve had some impressive-looking games, but this game right here will show off the power of SSD, and we’ve got a look at that during the earlier trailers and gameplay. That all said, of course, I can’t wait to get my hands on this eagerly awaited title this Summer 2021.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart releases exclusively for the PlayStation 5 on June 11, 2021. Are you excited? C’mon, we know you all are, and so are we.
