GTA V, MLB The Show 21 headline newest Xbox Game Pass update

By Poch SaldanaApril 6, 2021

A new month means new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass and while April’s first update may not be as substantial as previous months, there are a couple of big names coming to Microsoft’s subscription service. Check out the full list below:

  • Grand Theft Auto V (Cloud and Console) – April 8
  • Zombie Army 4: Dead War (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 8
  • Disneyland Adventures (Cloud) – April 8
  • Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure (Cloud) – April 8
  • NHL 21 (Console) EA Play – April 12
  • Rain on Your Parade (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 15
  • Pathway (PC) – April 15
  • MLB The Show 21 (Cloud and Console) – April 20

It should be noted that this will be the first time an entry in the MLB The Show franchise will launch on Xbox consoles. The newest release in the Sony published franchise will launch day one on Game Pass, following the trail of Square Enix’s Outriders in big-budget titles launching day one on the budget-friendly service.

In addition to the handful of new titles being added to Game Pass, over 50 games will start to support Microsoft’s experimental Xbox Touch Controls which allows users to play console-quality titles with smartphone touch-controls specifically designed for each game. The full list of games compatible with the feature can be found here

A few titles will be leaving Game Pass starting April 15 as well including a slew of sports simulators. The full list of titles leaving Game Pass can be found below.

Big fan of games, writing, and writing about games! Two things Poch will always stand by--the Vita was ahead of its time and the world is a better place with a new Rhythm Heaven on the horizon.
