Watch Dogs: Legion PC Multiplayer Delayed Indefinitely

For all the fans who were waiting for the multiplayer portion to be added to Watch Dogs Legion, you’re in luck because it’s on the way. However, if you’re looking forward to playing it on the PC, you may want to sit down. Earlier today, Ubisoft announced that multiplayer for Watch Dogs Legion on PC would be delayed, and there’s no ETA on when it will arrive.

During testing, it was brought to Ubisoft’s attention that the PC version would crash with certain GPUs. As such, the developers will continue to look into what’s causing the crashing. But instead of trying to rush it and possibly encounter some massive backlash, Ubisoft has decided to wait until the issues have been corrected. Now, if you know anything about PCs, there can be hundreds of configurations, each with different GPUs from various manufacturers and different modes.

Needless to say, Ubisoft has a long road ahead of them when it comes to sorting out this issue.

Also identified is an issue with the Tactical Ops, an online mode in Watch Dogs Legion. They have delayed the PlayStation, Xbox, and Stadia free online addon until March 23rd due to this.

These delays come after announcing that the long-awaited multiplayer for Watch Dogs: Legion would arrive in March 2021. Fans of the game have been waiting on this ever since the game launched back in November 2020. Here’s to hoping that Ubisoft can get the issues iron out for all the platforms. And if not, I’d be fine with them just delaying it all until it’s ready. We’ve all seen what can happen by rushing out games that aren’t ready. CD Projekt Red, sadly, knows this all too well with how Cyberpunk 2077 has been handled.
