Bandai Namco Arts has announced that it will be releasing a smartphone app for the free live streaming program MixBox on March 30.
MixBox is a service that allows users to enjoy a wide range of original content, including free music from the Lantis/Purple One Star label operated by Bandai Namco Arts. This release includes the background playback feature, which was highly requested by users.
In addition, Bandai is currently developing the following content:
Original playlists by artists
We will distribute playlists put together by artists (some with voice commentary). New playlists by Minori Chihara, Daisuke Ono, Ai Furihata, Shugo Nakamura, Kaede Higuchi, R.O.N (STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION), and many more will be added in time.
MixBox Special Program MixUp!
MixUp is a project that was launched to support remote production by artists and creators. Through this program, Lan Amane will introduce the music and videos that they have created. You can enjoy original works only available here and on the YouTube Lantis Channel.
Commentary viewing
Distribution of original soundtracks with commentary by those involved in their production. The original soundtracks from various works related to Bandai Namco Arts will be available in the future.
In addition, streaming of the 3rd season of Seizei Ganbare! Mahou Shoujo Kurumi and information programs from the Lantis/Purple One Star label will be available.
