Heads up my fellow PC gamers who happen to enjoy mech games. GALAHAD 3093, the still in development mech game from Simutronics Corporation, is hosting another beta that’s taking place this week. GALAHAD 3093 puts a unique spin on traditional mech games by adding heroes we’ll pilot the mechs into battles. Just like other hero-based games, each hero will have unique abilities that will augment the abilities of the mechs you’ll pilot.
This upcoming beta will take place from March 19th at 5 PM PT / 7 PM CT / 8 PM ET to March 28th at 8 PM PT / 10 PM CT / 11 PM ET. If you’re interested, you can sign up by heading over to Steam and clicking on the “Join the GALAHAD 3093 Playtest” tab and requesting access.
GALAHAD 3093 reminds me of both Titanfall and Hawken, the latter being an enjoyable mech-based team deathmatch game that died way too soon. However, GALAHAD 3093 takes it further by allowing you to customize your mech and unlock new weapons and mods. This is something I feel will resonate with fans of MechWarrior or Armored Core series. I know it definitely does with me.
Being a big fan of mech games, I’ve been looking forward to GALAHAD 3093 being released. Especially since the mech game genre has all but died on both PC and consoles. But I’ll definitely take getting into another beta and seeing how far along the game has come.
