Gotham Knights Has Been Delayed To 2022

If you’ve been waiting for WB Games Montreal’s co-op Batman title, you’re going to be waiting a bit longer. Today, it was announced that Gotham Knights has been delayed until 2022.

Per the statement released on the official Gotham Knights Twitter account, they want to devote more time to the game.

“We are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players. Thank you to our amazing fans for your tremendous support of Gotham Knights. We look forward to showcasing more of the gaming in the upcoming months.”

I know this frustrating for fans, especially since it took years for the game to be officially confirmed. Remember all those teases and missed events? Most were expecting this game to be ready to launch this year.

That said, I never fully believed that Gotham Knights would see a 2021 release date. Everything or the lack of what we saw didn’t instill any confidence that this game would ready in time. So for this delay to happen, I’m all for it. Hopefully, this gives WB Games Montreal the time they need to get this game into fighting form.
