Attack on Titan to Release Oversized Edition of Manga’s First Volume

By Josh PiedraMarch 4, 2021

Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan is just one month away from officially ending. To help celebrate the journey, it was announced that the very first volume of the manga is being re-released in a “titan-sized” format.

How big, you ask?

1.01 meters tall and 0.71 meters wide! (39.76″ tall x 17.95″ wide)

A manga of this size will set the Guinness World Record for the largest comic book ever published; however, good luck trying to get one of these as Kodansha is only making 100 of them. Kodansha also warns anyone who gets the manga that it needs to be stored flat as the book weighs 13.7 kg (30.2 lbs) and not storing it flat will cause the pages to warp!

Pre-orders for the large book start on March 6 until June 11 for delivery from May onwards.
