AnimeJapan recently announced that they were going the virtual route due to COVID-19. Today, they announced that countries outside of Japan will get to enjoy the event via a stream with English commentary.
The stream will cover all of the programs set for the event. Countries where the stream will be available are: The United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, South Kores, and Macau.
Unlike a lot of virtual anime conventions, AnimeJapan is not free. Tickets are on sale and they will run you 3,200 yen which is about $30 USD. This ticket only grants you access to one day of the events. A special two-day ticket is also available for 6,100 yen or about $57 USD.
