We all knew that The World Ends With You (Subarshiki Kono Sekai) would be receiving a television anime in April but we didn’t know the exact date… until now! The anime will begin airing on April 9! The anime was first announced at the 2020 Anime Expo in July. The story will follow the game’s where Neku is dropped into an altnerate version of Shibuya where he meets Shiki. Together the two play the Reaper’s Game in order to survive and escape the alternate reality.
