Smash Bros Direct For Pyra/Mythra Coming In March!

By Todd BlackFebruary 24, 2021
Pyra and Mythra Amiibo, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Xenoblade Chronicles

Last week was a major one for Nintendo fans as the latest Nintendo Direct revealed a lot of things for the year and beyond! But the thing that many are still talking about is the arrival of Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in Smash Bros!

Masahiro Sakurai had noted that he wanted to bring Rex, Pyra and Mythra into the original roster for Super Smash Bros Ultimate but didn’t have the time or ability. So now he’s fixing that via the Fighter Pack 2 DLC (available now). And as is now tradition, a special Smash Bros Direct is coming to break down everything to do with the two characters, their fighting moves and styles, and more!

Tune-in on 3/4 at 6am PT for an in-depth look at the new Super #SmashBrosUltimate DLC fighter, Pyra/Mythra, with Director Masahiro Sakurai. He will also reveal the fighter’s release date! pic.twitter.com/eSjrrgGqAk

This confirmation also reaffirms that the duo character will arrive in March for Smash Bros, possible even within a week after the presentation. This means fans won’t have to wait long before trying out the new fighters!

If you missed out on their reveal trailer, here it is:
