There were VERY few things to enjoy back in 2020, but one of the few things that were an absolute treat was that of the first season of the Animaniacs reboot that dropped on Hulu. Though not as long as the original five seasons of the show, the 10-episode season proved that the team behind the madness that is the Warner Bros (and the Warner Sister!) was still in tact in the best way possible. Poking fun at reboots, AI, social media, fake news (and REALLY fake news) and more (lots more, even themselves!) there was a lot to enjoy.
Season 2 of the previously ordered two seasons of Animaniacs will drop later in 2021. But Hulu didn’t want to wait that long to drop a big reveal!

Yep, we’re getting a third season of the reboot!Â
No details outside of this announcement as of yet, but fans will likely have a LOT to look forward to. And hopefully, Season 2 will look at the few complaints about season 1, mainly the focus on the Warners and Pinky and the Brain and only doing one sketch to ‘explain’ the lack of their robust roster from the first go round.
Either way, there’s going to be a lot of laughs heading our way for at least two more seasons of Animaniacs and we’re grateful.
