343i Taps The Coalition To Assist With Halo Infinite

It looks like the development on Halo Infinite just got even more interesting. According to a tweet today, it appears that 343i, the developers behind Halo Infinite, has tapped The Coalition for an assist. Yes, the same people are now handling the development and continuation of the Gears of War series.

A tweet appeared a few days ago from Twitter user @Timur222. A person who’s been known browsing the internet and unearthing the darndest things pertaining to the gaming industry. In this tweet, Timur222 noticed that several members of The Coalition had updated thier bios to indicate they are now working on Halo Infinite.

What makes this interesting is that 343i had stated they were going to be more transparent regarding Halo Infinite’s development. To date, I don’t recall any updates from 343i indicating that The Coalition would be tagging along to assist in the development of Halo Infinite.

Mind you, I think having a team that’s versed in crafting solid first-person shooters is an excellent idea. Whatever gets you to that finish line is fine with me, and it should be fine with the gaming community. Of course, Twitter being Twitter, there’s an abundance of negativity surrounding the discovery. You’d think that after finding out that 343i decided to bring in more help would be a good thing. *Insert palm face gif*

Hopefully, 343i plans on revealing what was discovered in its next monthly updates. Seeing how we’re nearly at the end of February 2021, we’re due for one. We did get one in January, so far, we haven’t received one for February, but I imagine one is coming.

I think this is good news. Development is hard enough as it is. Developing a game that many call the reason to own an Xbox or the glorious return of Master Chief. That’s a lot of pressure riding on you. Clearly, 343i wants to make Halo Infinite the best it can be. I definitely don’t see them wanting another “Craig” incident. They’re both Microsoft-owned studios, so to see some overlap isn’t unheard of, and I’m sure this was done in the past with various other titles.

Let us know what you think about this discovery. Good or back, sound off in the comments.
