Pre-ordering New Pokemon Snap from Target gets you…a picture frame

By Poch SaldanaJanuary 29, 2021

Pre-order bonuses have always been a little peculiar but the extra goodies you can get from pre-ordering New Pokemon Snap from Target is especially head-tilting.

Pre-order the new Pokémon Snap game for the Nintendo Switch system starting today on https://t.co/5EJJz0HgK7 and receive a free & exclusive Magnetic Photo Frame when it launches on 4/30! Only at Target! https://t.co/Rv77dbwWC7 pic.twitter.com/4EfVJXOYm3

Fans will be able to snag a magnetic picture frame when they order the latest in Pokemon spin-offs. Instead of the usual keychain or pin, in-game photographers can presumably print out their favorite shots from New Pokemon Snap and hang them on their fridge. While undoubtedly unorthodox, it’s admittedly refreshing to see such a weird pre-order bonus.

New Pokemon Snap is developed by BANDAI NAMCO and published by Nintendo. The title will launch on April 30, 2021, for the Switch and will be available for $59.99

Big fan of games, writing, and writing about games! Two things Poch will always stand by--the Vita was ahead of its time and the world is a better place with a new Rhythm Heaven on the horizon.
