Injustice 2, Torchlight III headline Xbox Game Pass January 2021 Update

By Poch SaldanaJanuary 5, 2021

A new month means a slate of new additions to Xbox Game Pass. January holds a relatively small update for Microsoft’s subscription service, especially compared to last month where we saw heavy hitters like Control and Doom Eternal added to the growing library, but there are still some titles to be excited about. The full list of games can be found below.

  • eFootball PES 2021 Season Update (Android and Console) – January 7
  • Injustice 2 (Android, Console, and PC) – January 7
  • The Little Acre (Android and Console) – January 7
  • Neoverse (PC) – January 14
  • Torchlight III (Android and Console – January 14
  • What Remains of Edith Finch (PC) – January 14
  • YIIK: A Postmodern RPG (PC) – January 14

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will also be able to claim the following perks:

  • Spellbreak – Chapter 1 Pass (Claim by April 8)
  • World of Warships: Legends – Holiday Cruisers (Claim by April 1)
  • World of Tanks – Legend of War Pack (Claim by March 31)

Unfortunately, these four titles will also be leaving the service by January 15:

  • FTL: Faster Than Light (PC)
  • My Friend Pedro (Console and PC)
  • Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (Console)
  • Tekken 7 (Console)

It should be noted that The Medium, the latest project by horror savants Bloober Team, is scheduled to release on January 28th and is supposed to be included in Xbox Game Pass the day of its release. However, the official Xbox press release does not list the title as one of the inclusions in the January update. Whether it’s an oversight or if the title is again being hit with a delay is yet to be known.

Microsoft is also holding their $1 for 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate promotion once again until January 25 so there has never been a better time to try out one of the best deals in gaming right now.

Big fan of games, writing, and writing about games! Two things Poch will always stand by--the Vita was ahead of its time and the world is a better place with a new Rhythm Heaven on the horizon.
