Hideki Kamiya Teases Bayonetta 3 And More Project Updates For 2021

By Todd BlackJanuary 16, 2021
Bayonetta 3

Fans of the gaming world really do love and appreciate Platinum Games. The developer is known for many out of this world titles that have brought all sorts of fun to gamers. Titles like Wonder 101, Nier Automata, Astral Chain, and of course, Bayonetta. Fans have been eager to hear more about Bayonetta 3 for quite some time now and yet Platinum has been mostly silent. Only promising that the game (and others) are coming.

Kamiya was present for the  Arcade Archives streams and had a phone conversation with Hamster boss Satoshi Hamada and teased both Bayonetta 3 and other big announcements for the year 2021.

Hamada: I believe that you’re very busy with new projects?
Kamiya: Well, I suppose… we’ve been working on new stuff like Bayonetta 3, not that I can say too much… but I hope we can give an update during the year.
Hamada: I see.
Kamiya: – and give updates on a few more unannounced projects too. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say that, but I said it anyway.
Hamada: (laughing hysterically) Ah, so that’s how it is, huh?
Kamiya: The point is – I’m trying to do a lot of stuff this year.

Indeed, and hopefully that means Platinum Games will be releasing many titles this year! We’ll have to wait and see!
