Cobra Kai Gets Brutally Awesome Honest Trailer

By Todd BlackJanuary 19, 2021

Cobra Kai is a very special show, one that we love here on The Outerhaven, and today, a very special video about the series arrived. Honest Trailers does very honest takes on movies and TV shows that you loved, and it was finally Cobra Kai’s turn to step into ITS dojo and receive NO MERCY!!!!! Seriously though, it’s a good take despite the digs.

The breakdown talks about how the sequel series to the REAL Karate Kid saga does everything right by bringing “balance” to the nostalgia of the original three movies while also showing off new characters.  While also poking fun at the tropes and stereotypes shown on both sides and showing depth when possible.

As well as bringing up really good questions such as, “Was Johnny Crane Kicked So Hard That He’s Actually Stuck In The 80s and Can Only Express Himself A Few Ways?” and “Is Bullying Actually Part Of The “Balance” The Show Loves to Talk About?”

And of course, talking about ALL the Karate Kid Easter Eggs in the three seasons of the show…which are a LOT!

These and more are broken down in the Cobra Kai Honest Trailer! If don’t like it, we have one word for you, “QUIET!!!!”
