Attack on Titan Manga’s End Date Announced

By Josh PiedraJanuary 6, 2021

It was announced by Kodansha that Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan manga will be coming to an end on April 9. With the manga releasing chapters monthly, this means that there are only four chapters left in the series before we say goodbye to everyone’s favorite housewife, Levi.

In the end, there will be 34 total volumes of the manga, concluding an 11-year journey.

Isayama stated earlier that he would be ending the manga in “three more years” but that time came and went. Back in November, he said that the manga was about 1-2% away from completing so we knew that it was coming to an end soon. Now, we can say for sure with confirmation that the epic tale is, indeed, ending.

Attack on Titan is currently airing its final season which, barring any weeks off, will end two weeks before the end of the manga. Don’t be shocked if there is a missed episode here or there as with the close proximity to the manga’s end, they may do what happened to ERASED back in 2016… end the manga and the anime at the same time with the same ending. That, of course, is speculation but it wouldn’t surprise me if that happened.
