The remake, while originally had its fair share of issues, has been improved. Thanks to the input of the series’s fans, and thanks to Forever Entertainment for taking those concerns seriously. While I had already owned a copy of the game for the Switch, I also double dipped and purchased the PC version as I wanted to support the developer; but I also wanted to see how the game performed on a much more powerful platform. It was definitely more impressive, not mind-blowing, but still impressive.

As a fan of Panzer Dragoon ever since it was released back on the Sega Saturn, I’m happy to see that the remake has graced the PC, PS4, Switch, and soon, the Xbox One. I still want to see the next two games, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei and Panzer Dragoon Saga, if that is even possible. Last I heard, Sega lost the source code to that game, which is why it has never been ported to any other platform.

Panzer Dragoon Remake is currently available for the PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and soon to be Xbox One.
