The Duck has been out Scrooged
Sad news for DuckTales fans today, on Twitter it has been announced that DuckTales season 3 will be the finale of the series:

DuckTales was rebooted on Disney XD back in 2017 to critical and fan acclaim, but the show went on a brief hiatus in May this year. After returning from hiatus fans were excited to see more of the lovable duck and crew but alas Disney feels that the show is not performing well enough to keep it running.
As stated the crew has been moved to other shows with most of the crew most likely being moved to work on the Darkwing Duck reboot that is currently being worked on.
Fan response so far is what you would expect from news like this, with a lot of fans blaming the inaccessibility of Disney XD being the major factor of low views. While it’s just speculation so far it does make sense. I tip my top hat to you Scrooge McDuck, it’s been a fun time and maybe we’ll see you again one day.
