The Funimation App Will Be Available on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5 at Launch

Anime-loving gamers rejoice!

Funimation announced that their anime-stream service will be available as an app on both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S at launch, tomorrow, November 10th.

The Funimation app will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Funimation previously confirmed its streaming app will be available on the PlayStation 5, launching November 12th in North America and November 19th in the UK and Ireland. Fan favorites from Funimation include My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

“Funimation is thrilled to make the jump to the next generation of the gaming console and will be available for fans to stream right from day one,” said Fadhilah Lee, Executive Director of Distribution and Partnerships. “No matter what gaming console is preferred, fans will be able to watch all of their anime favorites.”
