Super Nintendo World Opening In February In Japan

By Todd BlackNovember 30, 2020
Super Nintendo World

Nintendo has been working on expanding their reach in terms of fans and gamers through various means, and one that might have a long-term impact on them is the series of theme parks they’re planning to open in Japan and aboard. Super Nintendo World as it is known will be a video gamers paradise of sorts as they’ll be able to explore the Nintendo realms and play games and do rides based on the various Nintendo franchises. It was meant to open last year alongside the Tokyo Olympics, but obviously that was delayed.

However, in a major posting by Nintendo, Super Nintendo World is now slated to open in Japan on February 4th. What’s more, there have been updates on what you can expect from the opening.

For example, you’ll be able to enter Bowser’s Castle, and within that castle is a super detailed Mario Kart ride known as “Bowser’s Challenge” where you’ll get to compete with others to earn the various trophies from the cups you participate in. You’ll even be able to use weapons from the game!

More details will be coming about the park and the rides so stay tuned because if it’s a hit in Japan it’ll most definitely be coming to the US!
