Pokemon Twilight Wings was a bit of a curiosity when it was announced, mainly because it wasn’t going to be tied to the main anime, and yet explore the Galar region in new and exciting ways. What would follow were a series of episodes that showed the power of character-driven storytelling and beautiful animation. Fans were all in, and we loved it here at The Outerhaven.
And now, The Pokemon Company has decided to release another episode of Pokemon Twilight Wings, and tie it into the DLC that came out for Pokemon Sword and Shield via The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra.
In the episode, Leon goes and trains with his old master, and then seeks out all the strongest trainers in the Galar region for the Galarian Star Tournament. Players of Sword and Shield will find all sorts of references to the game, so be on the lookout for all of them!
