The story of Breath of the Wild has been told, or at least, it’s been told in part. Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity seeks to bring more depth to the world of BOTW by revealing the events that preceded the Calamity that was to come. Mixing story with the intense gameplay of Dynasty Warriors, Age of Calamity will try and deliver a fresh and fun experience while players wait for BOTW 2.
To harken the imminent arrival of the game, Nintendo has released a launch trailer for Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. Complete with new cutscenes and teases of things we haven’t seen before. Including the mysterious villain behind the Yiga Clan in full view, and apparently being able to play as Zelda with her full powers!
