Catch a first glimpse of Urbosa in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

By Poch SaldanaOctober 7, 2020

Today’s Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity section of Nintendo Treehouse: Live showcased over 20 minutes of chaotic Musou gameplay which includes a first look at Urbosa, the Gerudo Champion. We also get an extended look at some of the previously revealed characters such as Link, Zelda, and a young Impa in her prime.

The material system was also detailed explaining that they’re used to upgrade equipment, unlock new levels and locations, and even create recipes for pre-battle stat buffs. Other highlights include the confirmation of no weapon durability and the reveal of the world map—expectedly very similar to Breath of the Wild’s—which serves as the game’s level select screen.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is set to release on November 20, 2020, for the Nintendo Switch. Are you excited about more Zelda? Not a fan of Musou games? Let us know in the comments!

Big fan of games, writing, and writing about games! Two things Poch will always stand by--the Vita was ahead of its time and the world is a better place with a new Rhythm Heaven on the horizon.
