Yakuza: Like A Dragon is now a day one release for Xbox Series X and S

By Keith MitchellSeptember 9, 2020

Now that Microsoft has let the cat out of the bag, it seems things are starting to fall into place. Yakuza: Like A Dragon, which was previously announced to be released on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, on November 13th, will now see a November 10th release date for the Xbox Series X and S.

Which is great news for everyone who is thinking about picking up the Xbox Series X or S. As for Yakuza: Like A Dragon, while I haven’t played it I have had my eye on this game for a while. I’m digging the RPG elements of the game and always felt that the tried and true Yakuza formula was getting stale – so this game is a nice change of pace.

Sega so far as only committed to releasing the Xbox Series X and S version earlier, while the PlayStation 5 release of the game has yet to be announced. When we asked Sega for specifics, we were told that “information for the other platforms will be released at a later date”.

For now, it’s safe to assume that we’ll have to wait until November 13th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions to be released. The PlayStation 5 release of the game has yet to be announced, but perhaps we’ll know more when Sony finally reveals when the console will be released.
