Super Mario All-Stars arrives on Nintendo Switch Online today

By Keith MitchellSeptember 3, 2020

Do you remember all those times you sat in your childhood home, playing through all the Super Mario games, either on your NES or SNES? Well, you’re about to do it all over again, that is if you own a Nintendo Switch, as Super Mario All-Stars is being released for the Switch… Today!

As part of the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary, Nintendo has a lot of things planned, which we’ll be covering – one of which is the re-release of Super Mario All-Stars.

Super Mario All-Stars: The classic Super NES game that includes upgraded versions of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3 with enhanced 16-bit graphics is joining the catalog of games available with Nintendo Switch Online … later today!

This is great news for anyone who’s a fan of Super Mario Bros., and it appears those rumors were right on the money. Speaking of money, this title is being added to Nintendo Switch Online, so if you have a subscription then you’re good to go. No word on if we can buy it individually.

Super Mario All-Stars is a remaster of previously Super Mario Bros. titles; Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. All remastered with 16-bit graphics and sounds. It was originally released for the Super Nintendo back in 1993 and re-released on the Nintendo Wii in 2010.

So if you missed the game the first time around, well, now’s your chance.
