This is what VR was made for
Today at Facebook Connect, developers Rebellion and Just Add Water have announced that the Sniper Elite series will be coming to Oculus quest “soon” with a new trailer. Rebellion has also confirmed that Sniper Elite VR will be heading to all major VR headsets as well so if you own a PSVR, a Rift S, the Vive or an Index then don’t fret because you’ll be able to get in on the skull busting fun as well.
Rebellion had this to say: “Sniper Elite VR features core gameplay fans know and love from Rebellion’s award-winning series, now brought to life like never before. Players can look forward to a full singleplayer campaign to sink hours into, heart-pounding gunplay with an array of authentic WW2 weapons including rifles, pistols, explosives and more.”
While this isn’t the first we’ve heard about Sniper Elite VR since the 2019 announcement, it is the closest we’ve had to a release date yet. While I doubt Sniper Elite VR will come out in 2020, I am more than happy to be proven wrong.
