Here’s Everything announced during the today’s PlayStation 5 showcase

Now that September PlayStation Showcase has come and gone, here’s everything announced, alongside its respected trailer. For more detailed information on the announced titles, be sure to check out our PlayStation 5 coverage here on the site.

PlayStation 5 Pricing and Launch Date

This is what everyone was waiting for. The pricing for the PlayStation 5 has been revealed, $399 for the digital edition, $499 with an optical disk drive. Releasing this November 12th, 2020, for the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea markets

Final Fantasy XVI / Final Fantasy 16

The rumors were true! A new Final Fantasy is in the worse and is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 on the console, also headed to PC!

 

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

An extended look at the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales for PS5 (and PS4).

 

Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy

Hey, look, it’s that rumored Harry Potter game. Releasing in 2021 for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

 

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

 

Resident Evil Village

Looks like the PlayStation 5 will launch mid-November, after the Xbox Series X and PC versions.

 

Deathloop continues to impress

And this trailer just makes the wait for its 2021 release that much harder.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition

This updated version of Devil May Cry 5 is strictly for the PS4 and Xbox Series X/S. Will include a playable Vergil, ray tracing technology, and enhanced 3D audio, fan-favorite modes including Turbo Mode and Legendary Dark Knight Mode, and the inclusion of Deluxe Edition and EX Color Pack content.

 

Oddworld: Soulstorm

Um, sure, more Oddworld is always good.

 

Demon’s Souls remaster is looking mighty fine

One of my eagerly awaited PlayStation 5 games was not only shown but confirmed as a launch title. Just watching this trailer reminded me of how many hours I slaved away at this game. I can not wait for this title! And unlike it was previously mentioned, this is a PS5 exclusive. It will not be headed to any other platforms. Which is why the trailer is now private.

 

A new Five Nights at Freddy’s game – Security Breath

Um, it’s Five Night’s at Freddy? Look, I never understood the appeal, so don’t know what to expect.

 

Fortnite is headed to the PlayStation 5

Who didn’t see this coming? The super-popular Fornite is headed to the PlayStation 5. Here we can see a glimpse of the game, running on the updated Unreal Engine 5.

 

PlayStation Plus Collection announced

PlayStation Plus for PlayStation 5, which looks similar to Xbox Game Pass, a collection of top-selling PlayStation 4 games that will be available on the PS5 at launch. No streaming, just download and play.

 

God of War Ragnarok tease – releasing in 2021

All we know is that “Ragnarok Is Coming” and that it’s due out next year.
