While it was recently made aware that Spider-Man: Remastered for the PS5 will not support PS4 to PS5 game saves, things are a bit different for Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
In a recent reply on Twitter, Insomniac Games has confirmed those who already have played Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PS4, will be able to transfer over their game save if and when they upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version.

This is good news, seeing how the PlayStation 5 is already scarce, and various retailers have already started canceling PlayStation 5 pre-orders. While we don’t know just how large Spider-Man: Miles Morales is, I doubt that anyone is a fan of starting over a game from the beginning.
