‘The Batman’ Gets First Teaser Trailer Via DC Fandome

To say that DC Fandome has provided fans with everything they could ever want and more is a bit of an understatement. But late in the day they still had a LOT to unveil, including the first teaser trailer for Matt Reeves The Batman!

The director took to do a panel for fans and revealed a lot about The Batman in terms of looks, tone, characters, and more. Including confirming that not only was this a different universe than the DCEU version of Batman (whom if you didn’t hear, Ben Affleck will return one more time for The Flash film), but also, this is in “Year Two” of his career. Taking things back to the beginning once again, but not in the way that Batman Begins was.

We also got confirmation that characters like Selina Kyle are still growing in their own rights, saying that she’s not Catwoman just yet. But the big reveal in many ways was Paul Dano’s Riddler. Matt Reeves said he’s a version that no one has seen yet, and that’s very exciting for him.

You can check out the teaser trailer below, and be prepared for when The Batman arrives in theaters in 2021!
