Medal of Honor is back with Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond coming exclusively to the Oculus Rift platform

By Poch SaldanaAugust 28, 2020

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond was formally announced at Oculus Connect 6 last September but we had only seen small snippets of the title until now. EA shared an extended look at the VR-exclusive’s campaign during Gamescom Opening Night Live.

This the first title in the Medal of Honor series in nearly a decade with the last release with the last title being the much-maligned Medal of Honor: Warfighter from 2012. Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond looks to go back to its World War II as you play as an agent for the Office of Strategic Services experiencing the battlefield of 1940s Europe.

While not showcased or detailed, the title will include a multiplayer mode of some sort.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is being developed by Respawn Entertainment and is slated to release this holiday season.

Big fan of games, writing, and writing about games! Two things Poch will always stand by--the Vita was ahead of its time and the world is a better place with a new Rhythm Heaven on the horizon.
