Get ready to pilot the Popemobile Mecha in Serious Sam 4

By Keith MitchellAugust 29, 2020

We already knew that Serious Sam 4 was going to be just as over-the-top as the other games in the serious and this new trailer shows us just how over-the-top it’s going to be.

Today, Croteam and Devolver Digital released a new trailer that introduces us to the “Popemobile”. Which happens to be an ultra destructive mecha that we’ll be able to unleash on Sam’s enemies.  We won’t just be using it on the smaller enemies either, as the trailer shows, there are some colossal baddies that we’ll need the Popemobile to take down.

Check out the trailer for yourself.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to get my hands on Titanfall3 Serious Sam 4. I was already looking forward to this, but then they had to go and add a mecha into the fray.

Speaking of some crazy stuff, when the Croteam first starting taking about Serious Sam 4, they mentioned the insane amount of enemies that could be on the screen at once due to the game engine. Here, we get a look at this in the new trailer as well and doesn’t look like they were kidding. I only hope we get to frag all those enemies and that they weren’t just for show. I guess we’ll find out soon.

Serious Sam 4 releases on September 24th, 2020 for PC and Google Stadia, for now. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will see a release of Serious Sam 4 at a later date.
