‘Cobra Kai’ Is Dominating On Netflix

By Todd BlackAugust 31, 2020

In 2018, YouTube Red (now YouTube Premium) shocked the world when it released Cobra Kai, a sequel series to the original Karate Kid films. The first season followed “Ace Degenerate” Johnny Lawerence as he tried to rebuild his life by rebuilding Cobra Kai from the ground up. Fans and critics were impressed by the series dedication to the original while also telling a truly new story. Season 2 was just as good (and we said so in our review!) and now fans are desperately waiting for Season 3 to come out.

But, before that could happen, YouTube sold all the rights to Netflix, and now, as many are porting, it’s absolutely dominating on the service. Both seasons came out last week and it’s remained at Netflix’s No.1 spot ever since.

The service also revealed that Season 3 WILL arrive on the service in 2021, so it’s a bit of a wait, but the wait will be worth it. So if you haven’t seen Cobra Kai yet, get caught up on Netflix! You won’t regret it.
